Stephen Reen

Stephen brings thoughtful, determined, and responsive advocacy to those facing life-altering challenges. A native Hoosier, Stephen began his work as a paralegal at the Indiana Attorney General’s Office while studying at the IU McKinney School of Law in its night program. After graduating in 2022, Stephen continued as a Deputy Attorney General in Administrative and Regulatory Enforcement Litigation where he represented over twenty different administrative agencies, gaining extensive experience in dispositive motion practice, bench trials, and oral argument in administrative law appeals.

In 2026, Stephen joined Powless Law Firm, where he applies his trial and appellate experience in high-stakes litigation, to help patients and families affected by medical negligence and nursing home neglect, guiding clients through complex and shifting legal landscapes.

Outside the office, Stephen plays the organ and directs his church choir, and teaches epee fencing at the Indianapolis Fencing Club. He lives in Perry Township with his wife and two cats.
